I am a former middle school teacher with a background in Chinese (Mandarin) and French. I majored in Chinese in college, have been to the People's Republic of China for study and travel, and have near native speaking and writing skills in Mandarin Chinese. I have studied French for 5+ years. I taught both Chinese and French at the middle school level and am still a certified teacher in the state of Maryland. I am willing to tutor students at any levels in Chinese and French in skills including speaking, writing, grammar, pronunciation, reading and composition.

I majored in Chinese at Georgetown University, where I graduated summa cum laude with a GPA of 3.95. I have taught Chinese for three years at the middle school level and am a certified teacher of Chinese for grades 7-12 in the state of Maryland. I scored Advanced Mid (8/10) on the ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview and Writing Proficiency Test for Mandarin Chinese.
