I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Peru. I love to tutor children and high school students in Spanish grammar, pronunciation, and culture. I have a master's degree from American University in Public Communications and am fully bilingual. I have also professionally translated documents for health care organizations and political campaigns.

In the past, I have taught elementary and middle school children at St. Elizabeth School, been an ESOL teacher at Ritchie Park Elementary School, and tutored high school students at my home. My level of expertise is such that all of my Spanish students have gone directly to Honors/AP Spanish in high school. I am a very caring person and feel a teacher should not only teach but also care for the overall well being of the student.
