I'm a recent graduate from the Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Neuroscience & Economics, and am currently working at the NIH for the last year.
I have extensive tutoring experience, and have worked for Kaplan in the past tutoring elementary and middle school students in reading, writing and math. I would also like to teach high school math and science, particularly AP Bio & AP Chem, and have received a 5 on both exams in the past.
I plan on attending grad school in the fall and am able to provide test prep for the GRE, in addition to the SAT/ACT, or help with writing/proof reading college applications.
I understand that everyone has different learning styles, and I'm patient and willing to work with each individual student to ensure that they understand basic concepts before moving on.
Finally, I'd prefer to tutor in a public location (coffee shops or libraries). I find that this is less distracting for students overall.
