My teaching experience includes 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade elementary subjects. When teaching in Los Angeles, I also taught 6th grade math and science. Over the years of teaching, I have learned that students learn best through their own discovery techniques.
My experiences include teaching in an International Baccalaureate Candidate School, where students had fun in the classroom while learning their state required topics. Most of my teaching includes "hands-on" techniques where understanding takes place because the students "discover" the answer through the use of various manipulatives.

I am looking forward to helping students gain an understanding of the English language through the use of pictures. We first learn a language by hearing and seeing real items. Later on, we can then begin seeing the written word.

Elementary Math

You can learn how to add and subtract, multiply and divide by playing with a deck of cards. Learning isn't always reading something from a book.

We'll talk about real life situations and learn how to use mathematics to solve everyday problems. Hands on manipulatives can also make learning fun.

P.S. Sometimes we will also use a book to make sure that you keep up with your classmates!
