Learning should be a fun and exiting process, it opens your eyes to the beauty in the world around us, expands your horizons and keep you alive.
My approach to teaching is understanding the needs of the students. Whether a student needs a tutor to succeed academically or just to expand his/her knowledge on a subject, I try to find the best approach to teaching so at the end is a rewarding experience for both, tutor and student.
I am originally from El Salvador, Central America. I studied Computer Science at the Jose Simeon Canas University UCA, before moving to the US. I love music and philosophy. I have studied and performed with a drum set for 9 years. I will graduate in May 2012 with a degree in General Studies with Concentration in Music Performance.
While in El Salvador, I taught drumming as a freelance tutor. I have also performed with different bands in El Salvador and in Maryland, USA.
My love with philosophy has led me to learn the Latin language, and I found that learning Latin has expanded my understanding of Spanish and English vocabulary as well as to understanding grammar in a more thorough way.
Being a native Spanish speaker, has given me the opportunity to share with friends and coworkers the beauty of a world understood with a different language.
