I'm an experienced teacher who has taught English and Persian to lots of students over 10 years. I'm a member of The American Association of Teachers of Persian. I've enriched my experiences with some observations and trainings in Georgetown University, with Professor Farima Mostowfi.
I'm updated with all slang related to Persian culture, so you will get the benefits of an up-to-date Persian teacher.
I take the steps with the student's pace. Repetition is the base of my teaching approach. The practice of the student has a critical role in her-his progress. In general, each session includes speaking, listening, writing and reading (but it all depends on the purpose of taking these classes by the tutee). The schedule and plan can be very flexible and will match the tutee's goal.
Speaking and listening: I start with very simple words and make short sentences. Some simple daily questions and answers are also part of each session. Then we move on to next step and make some more complicated and longer sentences (upon the tutee's demand, we may listen to some CDs as well to make sure she's-he's getting used to other accents).
Writing and reading: Again, I start it with letters, then simple and short words and finally we will move on to simple sentences. The words and sentences will become more complicated as the sessions go on.
Finally, with the tutee's practice and the tutor's effort the result would be amazing!
