I have Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering and PhD in Physics.

I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching math, physics, and engineering courses to science and non-science students at UMCP, Virginia Tech, and in Switzerland. I am a dedicated teacher and I always took the extra effort to spend time with students outside regular class hours to help them learn. It is from these individual sessions that I find the students learn the most.

My tutoring style is strongly influenced by the positive experience that I gained from these personalized instruction with students. Each student has a different way of learning a subject. In tutoring, I always make it a point to figure out the student's style of learning and I plan my tutoring sessions accordingly, spending extra time to prepare for the session prior to meeting with the student. My broad background in math, science, and engineering combined with my extensive research experience provides me with the unique tools to teach effectively to students at all levels.
