Hi! I'm Cynthia, presently teaching in Prince George's County Public Schools as Kindergarten teacher. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, have taken up my Master's units in Child Study from the Philippines, and currently taking up Master's degree in Special Education. I used to be a private academic tutor for Reading and Phonics, English, and Math for 4 years. I also had a Montessori teacher training in the Philippines where I taught first grade for 2 years. Before I teach my students, I get to know them first, establish rapport and as we go through our tutoring process, I analyze their learning needs and styles so I could apply the appropriate teaching methods to them. I always make it a point that my students have fully learned and mastered the lessons I teach so they could apply them to practical situations.
