I am a research scientist with a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry with versatile research experiences in academic as well as industrial research. During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I tutored and mentored students. Recently, I graduated with MAT degree in secondary science education program with certification at UMBC. For the past seven months, as a student-intern, I instructed high school students in Baltimore City. I am interested in transferring my skills of teaching experience and versatile research experience in chemistry, engaging students and increasing their interest toward science and chemistry to prepare them for the higher education.
My outstanding credentials in academics and background in instructing and teaching throughout my career show my passions, commitment and competency as an educator. I am a dedicated, flexible and nurturing educator who is well qualified to provide the motivation and direction students need to successfully learn. Moreover, my accomplishments outside the classroom provide models of excellence for the profession.
