I have just recently returned from studying and traveling in China, Korea, and Japan. My past students range from elementary to high school students in various subjects (i.e. reading, social studies, algebra, AP biology, AP psychology, AP English lit, SAT, IELT, TOEFL, essay writing, piano). I have experiences working at the Kumon Learning Center and language institutes in China and the US. Throughout the lesson, I like to share some of my studying tips and stories to make learning more enjoyable. I have completed the Advanced Chinese Mandarin course at the Ocean University in China located in Qingdao, China, during the fall semester in 2012, Hangzhou Normal University from fall 2011 to spring 2012, and completed the Summer StarTALK Chinese Mandarin Language program at Howard Community College back in 2008. I am a native speaker of Korean and equally fluent in English. I have passed the Advanced level for the Korean Language Proficiency Test administered by the Korean Embassy back in 2006.
