Hello there! My name is Alexis, and I am eager to share my love of math and science with you or your child. I have always loved math and science, attending science and biology camps at CMU and Johns Hopkins University during my childhood and completing college level calculus with straight A's at the age of 16. I went on to study environmental science at McGill University, typically ranked in the top 30 schools in the world. During this time, I was a mentor in the International Student Buddy Program, which helped international students adjust to life in Montreal, I taught horseback riding, and I worked as a home care aide to provide assistance to adults with disabilities. For the past four years, since graduating, I have been working in Environmental Education through various organizations, including the Robinson Nature Center in Columbia. This has provided me with a lot of experience educating students of all ages. I hope that with my knowledge, patience, and my enthusiasm for these subject areas and education, I can help you or your child succeed.
