Most students that have ADD or ADHD have trouble focusing on subjects they find tedious or problematic. I have two children of my own that dealt with this problem and have worked extensively with students suffering with lack of focus. Sometimes medications will help or many times diet is also beneficial. I can work with your student and find interesting ways of presenting subjects to help them focus. I find that exercise and running off a little extra steam is also good for the hyperactive student.
