I currently teach high school history and also have 12 years' experience at the middle school level teaching social studies and English. I have worked extensively with at-risk and/or underperforming students 1-on-1 to help improve their performance.

In addition, I was the gifted and talented coordinator at my former middle school. This allowed me to challenge students on rigorous content.

Child will develop their reading skills through before, during, and after reading strategies and improve their vocabulary development. Students will also master their addition, subtraction, and multiplication tables. I have had several years of helping students do these things.

Study Skills

This subject will focus on improvement on good study habits and helping the student become more responsible for their own learning. This can include, but not limited to, notebook organization, setting up personal study area, study routine, and vocabulary development. I have worked with several at-risk students with improving their study skills in an after school setting. How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
