My experience includes 5 years as a Special Education Assistant for the Howard County Public School System in Pre-K through Adult and over 8 years in teaching life skills to individuals with special needs. I obtained a bachelors degree in Social Sciences from Towson University and have taken 2 masters level courses in Special Education and Human Services Management at McDaniel College. My combined experience makes me an ideal tutor for individuals that need extra help with subjects such as English/Grammar, Social Sciences, and general studies.

I offer personalized instruction for optimal results. Each student has potential waiting to be released. I work patiently with my students to make sure they fully understand content material. I facilitate motivation for learning through positive reinforcement. Student progress is reported through daily or weekly summary sheets as requested.
