I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Ohio University as well as Master's degrees in Applied Mathematics (Ohio University) and Statistics & Operations Research (UNC-Chapel Hill).
Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I thoroughly enjoy it. I feel face to face instruction with one-on-one attention is the best way to supplement the classroom. I am open to remote tutoring if distance is an issue.
I have taught several mathematics and statistics courses as a graduate student at Ohio University and The University of North Carolina. In between graduate schools, I taught for two years at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, OH. These classes ranged from basic arithmetic/pre-algebra to calculus and nearly everything in between. At UNC, I was also a tutor for the University's Learning Center where I tutored 10 hours each week.
Transcripts and a letter of recommendation from Cuyahoga Community College can be provided at the first meeting.
