Hello,

I am an architect and I have recently completed my MFA (Masters in Fine Arts) majoring in Computer arts and Animation. I am a very straight forward teacher who will help you understand the subject matter and bring your skills to the next level. I am very proficient in Maya, Revit, AutoCAD, 3dsmax, Sketchup and Photoshop. I like my students not to be afraid to ask questions, there is no such thing as silly questions. I tend to teach in a format that is very easy to understand and in a way that you will feel comfortable in completely tasks on your own when I can't be there to help you. I will also point you into the direction where you may find more in-depth information if you need it. I like for student to try something new even if they have never done it before, this is because I find it that most people learn by doing and not just reading about it or me telling you about it. I am through and I like for my students to feel that they can answer any question that may be asked at your future position (job), so it is very important for me to cover as much material in our sessions as possible.

Architecture

I have a 5 year Professional Bachelors (B.Arch.) in Architecture. I have helped in the design and development of various buildings in south Florida. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2008.

AutoCAD

I have used autocad from version 2000. I know how to make lines, polylines, trim and all the editing tools available in autocad. I typically use the command from the command lines and I use short cuts for example "Trim" would be "tr" as the command. My knowledge and experience includes: scale, move, text, multiline-text, rotate, how to edit blocks and make blocks, work with layers in model space and paper space. I know how to help you set up you linetype scale and set your pen weight for proper architectural plans. I know hot ex-reference your project and compline many projects into one single file for easy access. I also know the 3d commands and how to use them. I would be happy to share my vast knowledge of AutoCAD with you and assist you in your studies.

General Computer

I can teach you: basic computer uses, internet, email, social networking, ftp, smb, detailed information on computer assembly and diagnosis, wireless internet, home networking and file sharing,
mac or pc, hardware install and configuration.

This would be best if you are not very fluent with computer and you would like to get some in-depth knowledge about computer and how they function.
