I am looking forward to tutoring college, high school, and middle school students in the social sciences and specialize in instructing courses in History, Archaeology, and Philosophy. I can also tutor in a number of other subjects, including reading, test prep (for A.P., I.B. or other standardized tests), public speaking, and marine biology.

The reason why I am able to teach such a wide variety of courses is because of my diverse educational and professional background which includes: Two Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Philosophy, Two Master of Arts degrees in American History, and Historical Archaeology, and three years of Advanced Placement and Collegiate level teaching experience.

My tutoring methods vary from course to course, and I would be happy to set up particular routines with students. Generally however, I like to prepare mini lectures catered specifically to course materials. I create writing exercises and document analysis activities, and I compose personalized tutorials designed to improve students' note taking skills and studying techniques.
