I have been teaching special education for 8 years now. I got my Master's degree in Special Education and my undergraduate degree is in the area of Business Administration. I have worked with students at the elementary level in varying areas of special needs like ADHD, Autism, Developmental Delay and Learning Disabilities. I worked with students mostly whose needs are in the area of reading as part of their learning disability. I believe that every student is capable of learning and if given the proper modification and accommodation in their respective areas of difficulties, they will be more successful in the general education setting.
