My resume reflects twenty years of experience in education with seventeen as a classroom instructor, five years as a teacher coordinator and three years as a science instructional coach.
As a classroom teacher, teacher coordinator, and science instructional coach I have always had a strong commitment to education and meeting the needs of all children. My training includes Teacher Mentoring, Framework for Teaching, MSDE Professional Development Standards, Performance Matters, Conscious Classroom Management, and National Staff Development Council Coaches Academy. The extensive training I received along with my classroom experience of teaching IB biology, honors biology, life science, physics and environmental science has given me the tools to break down content and explain material using multiple teaching methods.
