I am a student at the University of Rochester, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. I am familiar with the programming languages Java, C, MATLAB, Prolog, Lisp, and some x86 assembly language. In mathematics, I have particular interest in group theory and differential equations. Recently, my work has been in the field of Quantum Computation, which I have studied under Paul Fili. In this work, I proposed a modification of Shor's algorithm to solve the Abelian Hidden Subgroup problem.
However, I am just as comfortable working at a more fundamental level, on less complex topics. I can explain difficult concepts in simple language and in an easy to understand manner. I would be willing to work with students of any age: from elementary school to the college level and beyond.
Should you select me to be your tutor, you will find me to be kind, patient, and enthusiastic about my work. Please send me an email if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you.
