I assist in reading for children in grades kinder through adult. I also offer phonics for basic beginners in reading. My format is very simple. Within my teaching, I also include visuals, manipulatives and worksheets to keep the student engaged.

Spelling

With my fun, interactive and unconventional approach, students will come away having a greater appreciation for words and the English language, in general. They will learn a great skill that will carry them wherever they go.

Study Skills

Having been an elementary school teacher and a current reading and writing GED instructor, I understand the importance of time management and prioritizing that time around your studies. I can assist the student with the needed skills and mindset to make learning fun and effective.

I can provide assistance in understanding Old Testament and New Testament Biblical concepts and characters. This includes review and life application.
