Welcome. My name is Phil. I am a certified project management and reliability engineering professional trainer, writer, and an inspiring public speaker. I have taught project management, writing, statistics, software applications, and public speaking for many years. I specialized in helping students and professionals improve their project management, computer, statistics, writing, and public speaking skills. I help my students overcome fear of public speaking and master the art of effective communication.

I have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and a master's degree in software engineering. I have worked with multinational companies in various capacities and have a good grasp of the importance of effective communication in leadership; and how the mastery and application of writing and public speaking skills help advance career and standing in the society.

I enjoy public speaking and was a guest speaker at Project Management Institute Washington DC Chapter and American Society of Quality events.

I am also a certified project management professional (PMP) and reliability engineering professional. I help students and professionals prepare for PMP and CAPM certification exams. I am patient in explaining the project management process groups and knowledge areas and have applied many project management processes in my practice as a project management professional.

Microsoft Excel

I have thought Microsoft Excel for the past 10 years. I enjoy training students and professionals on the power of Microsoft Excel as a spread sheet and a business tool.

I also teach students how to perform data analysis using pivot tables and charts. The knowledge of Microsoft Excel makes what used to be tiring business analysis data crunching tasks an exciting experience.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a tool I have taught for more than 10 years.

Though Microsoft Word is a widely used tool, it is underutilized. I focus in teaching students and professionals some of the functions in Microsoft Word that can make business tasks easier to perform.

I also teach students and professionals how to use Microsoft Word as a great writing and editing tool.

Microsoft PowerPoint

I have enjoyed teaching Microsoft PowerPoint for the past 9 years to students and professionals.

Microsoft PowerPoint is a great tool for quickly putting presentation together.

I focus on teaching students and professional some of the hiding tricks in Microsoft PowerPoint that make one to master the presentation tool.

Writing

Writing has being my passion for over 18 years. I have thought writing for more than ten years to students and professionals.

As a writer and a published author, I teach students how to write well and the discipline of creative and effective writing.

I enjoy teaching my students the writing process and I have been very successful in making students write clearly.

Statistics

I have thought Statistics for more than 5 years. I focus on the practical use of statistics to infer on the population.

I believe that the knowledge of statistics is important for decision makers and analysts in the field of politics, science, and business.

Study Skills

I have ten years experience in teaching students and professionals study skills. I have experience in teaching students and professionals how to develop effective study plan.

I also have experience in teaching students and professional how to perform a study review. I teach both basic and advance study skills.

Web Design

As a master's degree holder in software engineering, I have good training in software requirements gathering,specification, design, development, and maintenance. I trained in web design and applications. I have used Dreaweaver CS4 and Photoshop CS4 and conversant with HTML.

I developed and currently maintain two web sites. I am knowledgeable in helping students navigate through plethora of issues and trends associated with web design and development.

Adobe Photoshop

I am an experienced web developer with vast knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop 7, CS3, CS4 & CS5. I have used Adobe Photoshop to enhance pictures and images for websites and other publicatons.Also,I have thought professionals and students how to use Adobe Photoshop to create quality graphic images.

Business

I am a certified project management professional with 17 plus years experience in business process improvement, cost reduction, and how to use project management to effect positive change in businesses and organization.I also train small businesses on how to use technology to run their businesses efficiently.

Public Speaking

I developed interest in public speaking in his high school. As a school captain,I discovered the power of effective communication and admired confident public speakers. Dreameaver is a software program that I have expert knowledge and have used. I currently use Dreamweaver for website building.

I have thought Dreamweaver to students,and developed websites using Dreaweaver.

Microsoft Access

I have more than nine years experience in teaching Microsoft Access. I have taught students and working professional Microsoft Access 2003 and 2007. I have performed many database projects using Microsoft Access 2003 and 2007.

My strength lies in getting students to understand Microsoft Access fundamentals and appreciating the complex functionalities of the software: table creation, forms and views creation, reports and query writing, and database management.

Microsoft Outlook

I have seven years experience in teaching Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007. I have thought students and professionals how to use Microsoft Outlook 2003 and 2007 mail, calendar, and appointment functions.
