I am an effective, experienced teacher of 10+ years. I am a full-time classroom teacher in a local public school and cherish the time working with my students. I would like to use my experience and expertise to make a difference for YOUR student scholar and your family.

I am highly qualified and certified in three states in the following areas: General Education (Pre-K through Grade 9), Reading/Language Arts, History/Social Studies, and Middle School Education.

I have specific graduate level studies and 7+ years of successful experience in working with students with special needs, including, but not limited to, Aspergers, Autism, and ADHD. I have worked with students with special needs over multiple years at parents' request and have seen great results. I specialize in helping students with organizational issues to become more organized and streamlined in order to achieve greater academic success.

American History

History was my minor as an undergraduate and I am well-versed in American and World History.

Vocabulary

I love words and know that all children and adults can improve their vocabulary. I have proven techniques that will encourage students to be a wordsmith!

Grammar

This is my SPECIALTY! I love Grammar and guarantee that I can make a fluent writer out of even the most reluctant of students.

Reading

I can diagnose, assess, and design specific instruction for your learner, no matter the level of ability; gifted, on grade level, or struggling.

Writing

Writing without reading is useless, just as reading without writing is as well. The two go hand-in-hand and I will work with your student (or you) in ways that will help the writer in you flourish!

Geography

Geography is more than maps! Geography can be fun and directly related back to any student's real-life experience. If your student is struggling in this area, I can help, both in Human Geography and Map Geography.

English

I have worked with students Pre-K through college in helping students to better understand conventions of language and accurate usage.

I have proofed papers at collegiate level for 10+ years and taught the theory behind it as well.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
