I'm available weekdays 6-9pm and weekends by appointment. Throughout my high school and college years, I was a tutor for many subjects in math, science, language, music, and sports. After college, I was a teaching assistant for pre-algebra and algebra. My curiosity about the world around me drives my passion for teaching others the way that I wish I was taught.

I got my B.S. in Cognitive Science, Magna Cum Laude, at University of California - San Diego. I acquired a deep conceptual understanding of how students can optimize learning their school material via conducting experimental research on cognitive processes such as attention, memory, understanding, motivation, learning, reasoning, and via reading the latest scientific research in these topics.

After college, I enjoyed applying what I learned by working as a Pre-Algebra and Algebra teaching assistant in California.

I can help students achieve their goals with patience, structure, and hard-work.

I love science, math, music, and my fiancee, Meredith E., who is also a part-time tutor.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
