Hello,
My name is Eva and I first want to say thank you for considering me in your search for the right tutor. I am a young graduate student living in Bethesda, MD. I grew up in the area and attended Stone Ridge High School, Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia for undergraduate, and am now in my final semester of graduate school at Catholic University in DC. I graduated high school and college with honors and double majored in Art History and Sociology. I went to a liberal arts college so I took classes in a broad range of subjects and excelled in most, graduating with a 3.8 GPA.
I am in graduate school for my Masters of Social Work. I will be graduating in May and taking the licensing exam. I have a lot of experience babysitting and doing homework help for all ages. I also spent last year working in a special education high school and tutoring middle school aged children with various learning disabilities. I have experience teaching students studying and time management skills, am an excellent proof-reader and editor, and am qualified to tutor in many subjects including English, Reading, Art History, Photography, Mac Computers, SPSS, Sociology, Geometry, and more! I am a quick learner and given some time to prepare I can usually find creative ways to explain difficult topics. I also did some SAT tutoring this past year for a student at a local private high school looking to attend a highly competitive university. I spent time helping the student with her college application process as well.
I am a very kind and understanding person who is also patient and creative. If you think that I may be a match to work with you or your child, please send me a message and I will be happy to discuss further with you and will be honest if I feel competent in the area you need help in.
Thanks!
