I am a Ph.D. statistician and I have a long experience in teaching mathematics and statistics as a college/university professor (grad and undergrad level) as well as a high school IB teacher. I have also been working as a tutor for the past 15 years both privately and as an employee of a big tutoring lab. I am very experienced with learning difficulties students. I strongly believe that I have the communication skills and training required to make students overcome any math anxiety or math related fear.
Because of my training and experience, I am specialized in teaching mathematics and statistics so these are the only subjects I tutor. I want my students to get high quality services, related to my area of expertise. I am happy and proud that I have helped numerous students with a variety of courses ranging from AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, college level courses -graduate and undergraduate- such as Calculus with analytic geometry I,II, III, Statistics, Probability, Mathematical Statistics, Precalculus, Logic and Introductory Math.
Having a long experience in statistical consulting, I can provide high quality assistance with statistical projects or with the statistical analysis and software implementation of other research or professional tasks.
Minimum 80 minute lesson for lessons further than 5 miles from Bethesda, MD and minimum 60 minute lesson for all lessons.
I understand that things happen but to be able to accommodate my students I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel a lesson before that period, I will have to charge a one-hour cancellation fee.
