I am an instructor of biochemistry and molecular medicine at the Foundation for Advanced Education in Science (FAES) at the NIH campus in Bethesda. As a teacher I strive to instill a sense of curiosity in my students that will challenge them to fill their knowledge voids. I have gained several years of teaching experience at different institutions in inorganic and organic chemistry, biochemistry and molecular medicine. I tutor mostly undergraduate students but I also taught basic science courses. I think my strength is that I try to connect with the students at their level to stimulate and build their knowledge.
I earned a M.S. in chemistry and a Ph.D. in Clinical-Bioanalytical Chemistry with specialization in Molecular Medicine (GPA 3.92) at Cleveland State University, Ohio. I have competencies in college courses including Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
As a post-doctoral fellow I have gained a broad research experience and I have directly trained several students. I received a diploma of excellence for summer internship training during the time I spent at the National Institutes of Health, NHLBI, Bethesda, MD.
