My name is Aaron and I am currently in my second year of Masters work in Materials Science and Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts. Before studying at WPI, I completed my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. And BEFORE even that, I graduated salutatorian in my high school with a class of about 260 students.
I'm well versed in most of mathematics and science, but my specialties range from topics as tricky as differential equations to as simple as basic algebra. As an engineer with hopes of one day starting my own company, I've also had to learn a lot of topics that most engineers don't feel the need to address. I am well-read with an excellent grasp of grammar and spelling, but even more importantly if you are struggling with writing outside of your primary education, I have become well-versed in technical writing.
I am familiar with economics and entrepreneurship, as well as a small amount of business and patent law. I have also spent most of my summers prior to graduate school working part-time in my father's construction company, restoring houses and finishing basements.
If you are like so many and not just looking for a tutor, but also a mentor than please continue reading. I have traveled the world a fair bit, studying abroad in both Spain and New Zealand. I've played soccer, lacrosse, basketball, rugby, and track and field competitively, but also love playing volleyball and racquetball whenever I get the chance. I love to hike and see the world around us. I have been bungee jumping and SCUBA diving, with my next big planned adventure being skydiving at the end of the summer!
I was brought up in the church and could not have asked for better parents to guide me through life's journeys. They taught me that hard-work and a respectful attitude can take you far, but that connecting with other folks will take you beyond.
