My name is Kevin, I am aspiring to be a chemistry and math teacher in a high school setting. I recently graduated with a Chemistry degree, and I am comfortable tutoring in science and math courses. I am also athletic and play basketball, football, and soccer. The past three years, I have been Working for the Worcester State Upward Bound Program and a Peer Educator at the college level. Through these experiences I can relate and encourage other students to do better for themselves. I have had the opportunity to have conversations with some of the Upward Bound Students about the learning process and many have said they have a negative attitude toward the subject because of a teacher. As a tutor, I assess where students stopped learning, start rebuilding their confidence in the subject, and show applications to the world we live in.
