Hi! My name is Hayley. I'm currently employed at Shrewsbury Public Schools. I am a 1:1 assistant with a child who has autism. I love working with children. I have been working with children with special needs for the past four years. I have been a soccer coach as well as helped children work on social skills in society. I believe all children have their own way of learning and differentiate my lessons to their needs. I am very energetic and enthusiastic about learning! I was a Moderate Special Education major in Fitchburg up until this year. I have taken numerous SPED courses including Behavior Management, Language Arts, Reading in Sped, Teaching Individuals with Special Needs, and Math, Science, Social Studies for Children with Disabilities. I have passed the Literacy and Communications MTEL, Foundations of Reading MTEL, as well as General Curriculum Multi-subject MTEL.
