I graduated from Worcester State in 2009 with a major in Natural Science and a minor in Secondary Education. After graduation I was very fortunate to get offered a job after my first interview with Dudley Middle School. I taught 8th grade science (which is a mix of all major sciences, Earth, Life, and Physical) there for two years and I loved it! My students loved my change of pace "controlled chaos" style in comparison to their regular lecture and note taking classes.
I loved my job, but the only thing more important to me than teaching my students is raising my kids, and upon the arrival of my first child, I made the tough decision to give up my career and become a stay at home mom. I miss teaching a lot and think that I have a lot to give to students struggling in science. I would do best with the middle school age, but am open to any eager to learn student!
