I am a certified 5-12 English/ELA teacher and soon to be certified ESL teacher. I am currently working toward my master's degree in Education while working part time as a teacher. I have most recently been working as a history teacher for English language learners. I am available to tutor those who need help with English, reading, literature, and writing including vocabulary, as well as history. As a teacher I have taught how to write a research paper following MLA guidelines. I have helped students read and understand Shakespearean plays including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. Reading comprehension was checked through discussions and written assignments. I believe students learn best through hands on, real life experiences and by being shown the steps toward an answer as opposed to being handed the answers.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
