Hi, I'm Ron.
I recently graduated from the university of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in psychology. I minored in Japanese language/culture and philosophy. While I've never formally tutored in the past, I was a member of the honors college of my school and maintained a 3.7 GPA average. I feel comfortable in teaching on a number of subjects, but specialize in elementary Japanese and limited range of psychological courses. I've taken four Japanese classes (and an additional year of Rosetta Stone) as well as studying abroad in Tokyo for one semester (April-August 2010). I have all of my old language books (six in total), which would be plenty for any introduction to a Japanese language. My teaching format would be very similar to the way I was taught in school, although I may change the instruction slightly for clarity sake as I was mainly taught by native Japanese speakers.
