I was an associate professor who taught physics at a university for eight years in China before I came to the United States. While I was in the United States I had done research related to Physics at Clemson University and University of Florida for eight years.
I found my passion to be a teacher or tutor again when I moved to Boston In 2011. I am a native Chinese Speaker. Over the years I have been helping my own child learn Chinese as a second language. I collected a lot of Chinese children's songs, stories and Chinese cartoons which make for good supplemental materials for Chinese learning. You will have the opportunity to choose the method your feel comfortable with: either conversation of daily life or a fun learning process with songs, games and stories.
I have a teacher certificate as a physics teacher for teaching at University in China. I used to lecture over 100 students. I taught calculus based College Physics in China. I had noticed that Physics was difficult for a lot of students. I think that I should share my knowledge to students who may need help. I will feel happy by helping them understand and master the right skill for problem solving. I like one on one tutoring more because I can find each individual student's strength and weakness after several tutor session. Then I can help students improve their understandings and grades.
I had chances to reinforce my math skills while I did research all these years. I have very strong mathematical skills. I could help you get better at understanding the basics of mathematics and gaining confidence in solving problem.
