I understand the importance of making learning fun but challenging; thus I utilize differentiate instruction within my teaching. I like to focus on one concept and make sure the student has retained the concept and can use it in other settings. I like to finish any tutoring with a game for additional reinforcement.
I have tutored math prep classes for 4th grade MCAS and am acquainted with Scott Foresman math curriculum and the MacGraw Hill curriculum.
I have taught phonics using Bradley phonics system but am acquainted with Tellian TLC methodology. I have assessed using DIBELS and also understand how to differentiate my instruction with this data.
