My name is Christina, and I am currently completing my Master's in counseling psychology. I love to work with children and adolescents, and will be interning next year to gain counseling experience in this field. In the meantime, I am eager to use my skills to help elementary school students who may be struggling with various subjects and/or attention difficulties, as well as students who are preparing to take the SATs. My subject of expertise is writing, and I hope to help students to reach their goals on this section of the SATs.

Specializing in counseling children and adolescents, I believe in the importance of early intervention, and that it applies to not only mental health disorders, but also to education. Consequently, I have a passion for working with young children who struggle with subjects such as reading and writing, and am eager to utilize a wide range of comprehension strategies to help improve their reading and writing skills.

SAT Writing

Writing is one of my greatest passions in life, and I would love to share it with others. It can be a daunting task to write multiple timed essays at any given time, but with practice and understanding a few tricks of the trade, it can be easily overcome and even enjoyed.

I started learning piano at about the same time I started learning how to read - in the first grade. Ever since, it has been a huge part of my life and always will be.

I took ten years of piano lessons, working with a New England Conservatory teacher and playing everything from Baroque to contemporary music.
