Having scored in the 90s percentile in the math for the SAT and GRE, I feel quite comfortable with those problem sets.
By day, I currently do biochemistry research in a lab at Harvard Medical School studying inflammation.
Previous tutoring experience includes teaching undergraduates pre-calculus and chemistry (organic and general). I love tutoring because I gain a lot of satisfaction when I see my students having an "A HA moment" and the concepts start clicking in their minds. I also really enjoy teaching various learning styles, especially visual learners. For example, I was once teaching a group of undergraduates about how a research lab turned particular genes off for their study. We got out some string and paper cups to explain the whole concept!
