I am currently employed as a full time 7th and 8th grade mathematics teacher at the Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School. Here I have experience with students of a vast variety. I have experience with many students with learning disabilities (ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, etc) and students who are just struggling with math.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in May of 2013 earning my Bachelor of Science studying Mathematics and my Bachelor of Fine Arts studying Dance. Throughout my time at UMass I was a Teacher's Assistant for Pre-Calculus and Calculus classes and was eventually promoted to Head Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. I really love mathematics and have a passion for teaching. I have been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school. I am extremely understanding of students who struggle with mathematics as I have worked with struggling students the most. I truly enjoy seeing students reach their goals in mathematics and love being along for the ride getting there.
