Every student is different, and the only way to understand these differences is through experience. I have been tutoring younger students since I was 12 years old. Currently I attend Bentley University, majoring in Economics and Finance. While at school, I volunteer at the Salvation Army, tutoring and mentoring students ages 6 to 14 in a wide range of subject areas.
I have successfully brought students from on the verge of failing classes towards full understanding of a subject by the time a school year has finished. I teach students to learn the material, not just to pass the class. The long term benefits of understanding will lead to great success in the future and a greater willingness to take on future academic challenges.
