Hello!
Thanks for considering me. I suppose you're probably wondering what subjects I'm willing to tutor, right? Well, as you can probably see, I teach just about a little of everything. If you're interested in math, I can definitely help with calculus and algebra. I also can do trig. These are the math subjects that I've been using most recently, so they're the freshest in my mind, but I can do other things as well, just let me know.
English is probably my favorite subject. If you need help with grammar, go right ahead and ask. I can help with critical reading, public speaking, and anything else you can think of.
I am a francophone, and am planning to study abroad in France, so if you have any desire to learn French, brush up on conversation, or improve your school grades I'm willing to help.
I am currently a business student, and am planning on majoring in corporate finance and accounting. I can tutor things such as TVM problems, preparing financial statements, ratio analysis, etc.
Writing is a subject that I know very well. I have published my first novel, and am in the process of working on the sequel. If you're a creative writing student, I would LOVE to help you. I can also help with school essays and technical writing.
And, of course, the SAT. I studied three hours a day, every day, for six months before I took the test, so I know the subject material very well. I can also provide assistance with subject tests.
I tutor one-on-one, but can also provide group sessions. I will also tutor children below the high school level. I prefer to teach by providing examples, walking the student through them, and then having the student complete new problems. I generally begin by having the student take a short test to analyze his strengths as well as which areas need most help.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you.
