Ever since I started assisting my friends and family with their science homework in high school, I have been tutoring on a regular basis. As my first students graduated and moved on I was subsequently hired to tutor their siblings, cousins and friends. Because of their positive word-of-mouth advertising, I've never had to look for work; it’s always found me. Now that I have graduated from college and am considering teaching as a career, I am looking to expand my tutoring clientele.
I view all my students as the individuals they are and choose teaching methods that fit to their unique styles of learning and comprehending. With a combination of intuition and patience, I use my students’ own strengths to approach problems in ways that make sense to them and help them achieve understanding. Over the past six years I have tutored students in courses including Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Algebra and Geometry. Many were at college advanced placement level.
I'm young, I'm cute and I'm funny. Kids like me. Parents like me. And with my help, students become confident, successful and ready to take on their next challenge.
