I have a master's degree in education (earned in 1996), a Mass. Educator's License in Mathematics 5-8 and Moderate Special Education 5-12, and I work as a math and special education teacher.

When teaching Mathematics, in addition to teaching procedures, I try to foster a "conceptual" understanding.

In Spring 2010 I took a 3-credit graduate course entitled: "Teaching Reading" in which I earned an "A," and in Spring 2011 I took and passed the MTEL (which is the Mass. teacher licensure exam) for teaching reading. Study Skills

I have a master's degree in education (1996), a Mass. Educator's License in SPED: Moderate Disabilities 5-12, and 2.5 years of full-time experience as a special education teacher.

Some of my duties as a special education teacher includes providing support in a Study Skills course. In doing so, I have helped students with general organizational skills, as well as teach them how to prepare for tests, i.e., making outlines, note cards, etc.
