I am a fluent French speaker and have taught both in France and the United States. My goal is to make my students comfortable with the French language so that they can function in another country and understand the culture as well. I have worked with middle and high school levels as well as adults looking to increase their speaking and writing skills.

If you need tutoring services to help you feel more confident in your French knowledge or need a person to help you enjoy travel in French speaking countries, I will be glad to assist you. My teaching style is based on using the language in a real way and helping my students to enjoy as they learn.

When I taught in France, I was actually teaching English to French students. I am equally committed to helping international students who are learning English as a second language. Language learning is an exciting adventure, and I look forward to helping all my students to become proficient and confident learners.

I lived in France for many years, and this language has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I enjoy teaching authentic French and combining knowledge of culture and customs with the language skills necessary for learning the language. My experience with teaching French has involved private and public school teaching as well as creating exchange programs between France and the United States. I currently am teaching at UMass Boston.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
