I am a full-time student currently enrolled in an engineering program. As an engineering student, I can help in almost any math or science related subject. I am capable of teaching math, physics, English, and chemistry at a high school or college level. I also have backgrounds in software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop, AutoCAD and Java Programming.
Because of my background, I realize that for subjects to come naturally, they must be described intuitively. A tangible concept is easier to grasp than the abstract, and that's what I bring to the table. I am a firm believer that there is no subject out of anyone's grasp with persistence and hard work. As a current student I understand that teachers sometimes forget what it's like to be learning something for the first time, and this is where most people get lost.
I also know that every student is different and requires a different approach, and this is why large classroom learning does not work for everybody. These are the difficulties most students encounter, and knowing how to teach in a way that a student can learn at their own pace is what separates me from others. My approach to teaching involves creating a solid foundation of understanding, then building on that foundation to the desired level of fluency.
