Akshay A.

I have been tutoring for over ten years now. During my undergrad years, I worked as a one-on-one SAT tutor, and for several years after graduation was a GRE instructor for the Princeton Review. For the past several years, I have worked with students on writing and composition. I love helping students become comfortable and skilled in using words, and hopefully also enjoy the process of writing (which I personally think is fun!).

I work at a Boston literary magazine, and also tutor writing at two area colleges, where I have helped students with everything from scholarly essays to song lyrics. I have a Masters in Creative Writing from Emerson College and have published stories, poems, and essays in a number of journals.

I have a Master's in Writing from Emerson College, and currently work in the writing centers of both the Boston Architectural College and the Berklee College of Music, primarily tutoring students who speak English as a second language.
