I graduated magna cum laude from Yale in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Economics, and I am currently working as an environmental economics professional. I have always loved math, and currently I love working with Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, and GIS software.

I love helping others learn to use Microsoft Access, Excel, and ArcGIS software to further their own academic and professional goals. I use these programs daily in a professional capacity, and I have helped many of my colleagues improve their skills through both formal presentations and informal one-on-one tutoring sessions. I am available to help both beginning and intermediate users and can teach you to make the most of these useful programs.

I am also available to tutor younger students in Algebra, Geometry, and SAT Math prep. I have always loved math and standardized tests -- I got a 1600 on my own SATs back in 2003.

I pride myself on being a patient teacher who explains things clearly to her students, and I genuinely enjoy teaching others.

For intermediate users, I can help you take Excel's usefulness to the next level by helping you learn to use pivot tables, use combo boxes, and write macros. I can also help you learn to design more user-friendly and visually-pleasing spreadsheets and give you tips on best practices to make the most out of this useful program.

How do I receive a discount?

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
