I have tutored English as a Second Language in Boston for 5 years. I'm happy to teach children as well as adults. One of my students last year was a young adult student from Korea who did not speak any English and struggled with pronunciation. After 6 months of regular study, this student was able to form full sentences, hold a lengthy conversation and pose questions. I love to help students at any level who want to improve their English.
I have taught European history for 3 years now. Last year, I taught a preparatory overview course for AP European history, which was passed by my students.
I will be happy to help catch you up on topics, and deepen your understanding of events and their consequences.
I'd like to explain different concept of general music. I have done coursework in Ear Training, Composition and Written theory.

I was born and raised in Germany and have a deep understanding of grammar and how to teach it. Over the years, I have gained an understanding of the linguistic differences and challenges for students, whose native language is English.
I currently tailor my lessons based on the goals, that the student may have, as well as, their learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic).
I have taught German for reading knowledge, German intensives for students that have relocated to a German-speaking country, or have helped people that were interested in increasing their linguistic abilities as a tourist.

As I have completed 3 degrees at American institutions, I can assist with building and elaborating upon an argument as it is required for the TOEFL test.
I look forward to assisting you in your study.
I started teaching voice as an undergraduate in my vocal pedagogy class in 1999. Since then I have instructed students aged 6-50 in individual and group classes. I believe that a basic vocal foundation is essential for all styles that are sung and that singing should be fun and that learning how is a progress. I concentrate in voice lessons on breath support, resonance, posture, picking songs, discussing practice techniques and individual goals.
My vocal teaching is specific to the needs of each student, not a cookie cutter approach. I accompany the student on what I call a sensory journey, which means that I ask the student to communicate the sensations in the body as the vocal production improves. Thus, giving the student a means to teach themselves as they are improving.
