This is my first foray into tutoring. My name is Nicholas McCarthy and I'm currently an English major at Boston College. As such, I hope to extensively tutor English to those who need my help. As a current student, I know how challenging and pressure filled the learning environment can be. I hope to make the educational experience as fun and interesting as I possibly can. Along with many other works and authors, I am well versed in the classics, Shakespeare, Kafka, and Joyce.

I am a self-taught drummer that has been playing for the past four years. I am knowledgeable in reading and writing music, especially drum tabs, timing, and beat management and improvisation. I would be looking to tutor students at a beginner's level.

I have taken multiple courses on mythology and mythological texts including: The Odyssey, The Iliad, The Aeneid, Ovid's Metamorphoses, and many Greek plays.
