I am a well educated stay-at-home mom. I worked in the corporate world for about a decade. I am an attorney admitted to practice law in NY and NJ. Currently, in addition to caring for my own children, I provide one-on-one assistance to students in lower grades with assistance in reading, writing, math and science. In addition, I am an excellent writer who can help with essays and college preparation. Finally, I am available to tutor for the SATs (math and english) and LSAT.
I would say my unique talent is the ability to break down a problem or issue into steps that the student can understand. I work with students at their level so they can understand the principles behind a problem rather than just learning the problem. With such knowledge, they can worry less about memorization.
