I am a recently retired math teacher, having taught for 35 years. Students, fellow teachers, and parents have told me what a good teacher I was so I would like to continue to teach but not have to do all the other duties a classroom teacher is required to do each day.
I believe I have a unique way of teaching as I tell students I teach the way I learned myself. I need to understand why I am doing a problem, not just to do it for the sake of doing it correctly. I always entertain any questions regardless of the nature of them.
